Recruiting and Retaining
Next Gen Talent

Unleash Your True Value™ Series

It is no secret that women advisors are underrepresented in the financial services industry. The Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that 31% of financial advisors are women, while Barron’s estimates that number at just 20%. Meanwhile, the CFP® Board has stated that 23% of certified financial planners are women. Many wealth management and investment firms are looking to hire more women, but still struggle to attract and retain them.

In today’s episode, my guest, Kate Healy, CEO and Founder of AdvoKate IQ, and I discuss how to recruit and retain more women and next generation talent in wealth management and finance. Kate is an expert and tireless advocate for the next generation advisor. Her work focuses on making the industry more inclusive and ensuring that individuals from diverse backgrounds – in terms of race, gender, and educational background are welcomed into, and successful in this field.
