Rose Fierman’s story about growing up with the expectation that she would marry a man and how this assumption impacted her financial training is an important one. As an adult, Rose decided to take matters into her own hands and now advocates for other queer women to do the same. Rose is an economist and advocate for LGBTQ(+) rights. Along with other LGBTQ leaders in the Denver/Boulder area, Rose founded a non-profit organization focused on promoting inclusion at work. Rose is also passionate about investing and financial wellbeing for women and queer people, who are typically left out of conversations about money. She is currently a senior project manager for a startup media company that sits at the intersection of data and content development.
